The Employee Benefits Group division of Sun Life Financial, Inc. recently enhanced its group dental and life, as well as short- and long-term disability benefits, for small-businesses with two to nine employees through the carrier’s E-Z Choice program.
Upgrades to the plans, which can be customized with a variety of optional benefits, include three comprehensive core dental offerings, increased plan maximums for STD and three-year rate guarantees on life and disability plans.
In addition, an optional employee assistance program can be added to any disability or group life plan. Benefits include face-to-face or telephonic counseling on a number of topics that may include financial planning, crisis counseling and wellness programs, as well as child and eldercare
